Weekly Weather: Heat Waves And Sunny Skies

The weather is taking a sharp turn this week with plenty of sunshine and some high temperatures. 

Today will start the week off with overcast skies and the temperature at 94 degrees. 

Monday and Tuesday will be nice and sunny with barely a cloud in the sky, but there'll also be a bit of a heat wave with the temperature at 97 on Monday and climbing to 99 degrees on Tuesday. 

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with only a couple clouds, and the temperature will drop a bit to 93 degrees. 

Thursday will start off partly cloudy, but it'll become more overcast as the day goes on and might lead to several rain showers in the afternoon and evening. The temperature will continue to drop to 85 degrees. 

Friday will again be partly cloudy in the morning, but some showers are expected in the afternoon. The temperature will be 80 degrees.
