White House Promises $100M in Housing Vouchers For NYC

The NYC illegal immigrant crisis has prompted the aid of the White House, with $100 million in housing vouchers.
This City has been waiting for this money since it was promised last June. According to New York Representative Dan Goldman, the $100 million will fund thousands of vouchers. This pales in comparison to the estimated $5 billion spent this fiscal year alone, according to Mayor Eric Adams. The mayor says costs could rise as high as $12 billion over the next three years.
Goldman told PIX11 News today that more federal money could be in the works, mainly for schools faced with the rise in children of illegal immigrants. The government is also supposed to announce plans to send federal employees to the City to help with work authorizations for the illegals.
