Accident on Prospect Expressway Causes Heavy Delays

A flatbed truck loaded with building materials collided with a minivan on the Prospect Expressway near the 4th Avenue exit.
The impact caused the minivan's airbags to deploy as it spun out.
Hatzolah and emergency services were soon on the scene, and multiple lanes were closed, causing heavy delays as far back as Ocean Parkway.
Three patients were transported to the hospital.
