Alternate Side Parking Rules Suspended from Dec. 21 to 26

As the Department of Sanitation continues to remove snow from the streets, New York City has suspended Alternate Side Parking (ASP) this week, announced Mayor Bill de Blasio, who added in a tweet that he knew ASP is "something that brings out a LOT of passion" in New Yorkers.

The mayor’s suspension of ASP rules, which has been in place since Wednesday's snowstorm and will continue from Dec. 21 to 26, was met with great enthusiasm and approval online.

Other regulations, such as parking meters will remain in effect next week, except for on Dec. 25, when meters are suspended.
