Annual Kollel Chibas Yerushalayim Dinner ‘Mesorah’ Tonight in Boro Park

The annual dinner of Kollel Chibas Yerushalayim – Tzedakas Reb Meir Baal Haness will take place tonight in Boro Park, as thousands are expected to gather for a special evening celebrating 150 years of mesorah passed down from the Divrei Chaim of Sanz זי״ע and the tzaddikim over the years who strengthened the support of Yidden in Eretz Yisroel through the tzedakah of Reb Meir Baal Haness.

This year’s dinner is being held under the theme of “Mesorah,” highlighting the chain that has continued from the gedolei and tzaddikim of previous doros until today. The event will take place tonight, Monday night, at Ateres Golda, 5001 14th Avenue, beginning at 8:30 p.m., with thousands of residents expected to attend.

The keynote address will be delivered by the world-renowned maggid, Harav Yisroel Stern shlita of London, who is widely known for inspiring audiences across the world with his powerful drashos. Also scheduled to address the gathering is the guest Hagoen Harav Pinchos Friedman shlita, esteemed Rosh Hakollelim of Belz in Eretz Yisroel.

Harav Berish Rubin shlita, Menahel of Kollel Chibas Yerushalayim, will present a detailed report on the activities of the kollelim and the ongoing support provided to Yidden and talmidei chachamim in Eretz Yisroel through the tzedakah.

Rabannim and admorei Boro Park, headed by the Nisei Hakollel Shlita, are expected to enhance the presence at the dinner.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view a special presentation of historic letters and personal belongings connected to tzaddikim and gedolim of previous generations, offering a rare glimpse into the rich history and mesorah of the tzaddikim connected to the Mosod.

Special presentations will be given to the dinner’s major donors, while all participants will receive a commemorative mazkerez marking the occasion.

For generations, Kollel Chibas Yerushalayim has remained one of the most established and respected mosdos supporting Yidden in Eretz Yisroel, continuing a legacy of tzedakah and support entrusted by the gedolei olam for more than 150 years.
