As War Reaches 100-Day Milestone, Klal Yisroel Pines for End to Suffering

BoroPark24 Editorial

Today marked the hundredth day since that terrible Simchas Torah day when the joy of Yom Tov was shattered with the most horrific events conceivable.

It has been one hundred days since Klal Yisroel’s sons and daughters were murderously attacked, brutalized, and massacred.

One hundred days since grandmothers and grandfathers, mothers and fathers, young adults and young children were brutally snatched behind enemy lines.

And it has been an excruciating and agonizing one hundred days for those who remain in captivity, under unknown circumstances, and their families who spend their days and nights in worry and agony, hoping against hope for their loved ones to come home safely.

It has been one hundred days of hopeful Tefillah for Klal Yisroel around the world, whose lives and sense of safety have been altered forever as a result of these events and the terrible outpouring of antisemitism that has ensued.

As the terrible war—which we did not start, and did not ask for—drags on, it behooves all of us to keep our brothers and sisters in our tefillos, and cry out to Hashem for the ultimate Geulah speedily in our days.
