Assailant Arrested for Random Attack on Jewish Man

Four men who randomly assaulted a Jewish man walking in Boro Park late Tuesday were apprehended by Shmira patrol.

The victim was seen on video walking briskly along Dahill Road when he was accosted on the corner of 37th Street by the gang of four. The youths appear to jeer at him for several seconds before one of them knocked off his hat. All four then fled down 37th Street.

The victim did not acknowledge the assailants, merely picking up his hat and continuing to walk. He did not appear to be hurt.

A Shmira patrol pursued the perpetrators and caught them following a brief foot pursuit. Police were called and the one who threw the hat was placed under arrest; the others were let go with a warning.
