Assemblyman Eichenstein Endorses Dan Goldman to Represent BP’s District 10
By Yehudit Garamaise
Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein today joined leaders of the Bobov Chassidus and the New York Times in endorsing Dan Goldman to represent NY’s 10th district in the US House of Representatives.
“Over the last few months, I have gotten to know Dan Goldman quite well,” Eichenstein told Hamodia. “Dan is a rising star with the experience to immediately navigate our halls of Congress.
“Dan keenly understands the needs of our community and most importantly respects the beautiful diversity and mosaic that is New York City, which includes the Orthodox Jewish community.”
For 10 years, Goldman served as an assistant U.S. attorney in NY’s southern district, before going on to serve as the lead prosecutor for House Democrats in the first impeachment trial of former-President Donald Trump.
Former Assemblyman James Brennan, former City Councilwoman Kathryn Freed, and Democratic District Leaders Jennifer Hoppe and Chris McCreight have also endorsed Goldman.
