Attempted assault on Teenager last night, Suspect fled the scene

A frightening incident occurred on the streets of Boro Park last night. 

A 17-year-old teenage girl was approached by a male, on 60th St and 18th Ave, who knocked her to the ground and attempted to assault her.

Fortunately enough, the girl fought back and began to scream until the driver of a passing vehicle noticed, causing the suspect to flee the scene. 

The NYPD Special Victims Unit is investigating the incident.

A description of the suspect has not been released, but YWN reported the suspect as being Hispanic.
