Bais Chaim Yehoshua to Celebrate 50 Years at Special Melava Malka Tonight
YS GOLD
Harav Yaakov Yosef Halberstam, shlit"a, a grandson of the Kedushas Tzion of Bobov, survived the war as a child. He lost his father, Rav Chaim Shia, to the Nazis. But he soldiered on, determined to rebuild what was lost.
The Shul's Melava Malka this Motzei Shabbos, which coincides with the yohrtzeit of the Rebbe's father (3 Kislev, 1944), will celebrate 50 years since the Rebbe established his shul in Boro Park and the half a century of serving as a center of Torah and tefillah.
Throughout his decades of avodas hakodesh, the Rebbe has devoted himself to the growth and the thriving of every Yid he has encountered, and has thus founded a Talmud Torah in Boro Park which is likewise on a steady path of growth.
The melave malka, taking place this motzei Shabbos in Ateres Golda, will serve as a tribute to the Rebbe's monumental avodas hakodesh by his kehillah, as well as numerous Rabbonim and Admorim from the community.
