Bank Closures Hit New York

Multiple bank closures are slated to hit New York during September and October.

While B"H, 13th Avenue banks are open and thriving, bank branches scheduled to close in Brooklyn between September and October are other locations of the Santander and JP Morgan banks. Users can still access their funds online and in person at other branches.

FrankNex reports that according to data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), 8,000 banks were operating in 2000, but by 2022, that number was cut in half.
