BDE: Mrs. Henny Daskalowitz, a”h

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Daskalowitz in the early hours of this morning. She was 65, and had been unwell in recent years. 

She was born in Crown Heights to her parents Reb Shlomo Halevi Kirsch, and his wife, Holocaust survivors from Poland. They were left alone in the world. But their daughter, born on American shores, represented rebirth.

They moved to Boro Park when she was a girl, and She married her husband, ybl”ch, Reb Avrohom Tzvi Daskalowitz. They raised a beautiful family together and were pillars of the Pupa community of Boro Park. 

The nifteres is remembered for her sterling middos and for always going out of her way for others. 

The levaya will take place at 11:30 this morning at the Pupa Beis Medrash in Boro Park (51st Street). From there it will continue on to the Pupa Bais Medrash on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg. She will be laid to rest in the Beis Hachaim in Kiryas Pupa in Westchester area.
