BDE: Mrs. Hentchu Friedman, zt”l

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Hentchu Friedman, a”h, a matriarch of beautiful Torah generations. She was 99 years of age, and resided in Boro Park for many decades.
The nifteres was born in Uhel, Hungary, in the year 1925. Her parents were R’ Shaul Noach and Rochel Ziegler. She was raised in a home steeped in Torah and chassidus.
She survived the war years in disguise, losing much of her family, surviving with her mother and two sisters.
She married Reb Shmiel Yitzchok Friedman, and together they raised a beautiful Torah family in the Boro Park community.
The nifteres was beloved by many people, most especially by her family whom she brought together all the time. “She expressed interest in the lives of every single one of her grandchildren, always wishing for their success and well-being,” recalled a granddaughter.
Mrs. Friedman is remembered for her chessed, her love, and her middos tovos.
The Levaya will take place in Shomrei Hadas at 3:30 this afternoon.
