BDE: Mrs. Rivka Hershkop, a”h

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Mrs. Hershkop of Yerushalayim and Boro Park. She was 77 years of age. 

The nifteres was the daughter of Reb Yaakov Yehoshua Roth of Yerushalayim. 

She was known for her kindness, her good heart, and her sterling middos. 

She was also known for her commitment to davening and tehillim with tremendous heart. 

The Levaya took place in JFK Airport at 1:00, and a second Levaya will take place in Yerushalayim where she will be brought to rest. 

“When I was born my parents lived in a tiny apartment in Boro Park. Rivka Hershkop insisted that my mother move in to her home so she could help with the kids. We lived there for two months. Rivka was a special lady. Haven’t seen her in years but here to pay my respects @ JFK. BDE,” said David Greenfield.
