YS GOLD

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Yehuda Yosef Seidenfeld, a longtime Boro Park resident and a major Talmid chacham. He was 89 years of age.

The niftar was born in Uhel, Hungary, and survived the Holocaust as a child.

He married the daughter of Reb Ephraim Shraga Silberberg, a son of the Pittsburger Rov, and together they established a beautiful Torah family. He became mekushar with heart and soul to the Admorim of Ger, and wouldn't make a move without their consent.

He was a tremendous talmid chochom, and an incredible ba'al tefillah. He enjoyed davening slowly, with meditation. He was the longtime Yamim Nora'im ba'al tefillah in Yeshiva Mekor Chaim of Rav Binyomin Paller, zt"l, and he is remembered fondly by talmidim from througout the decades.

Rav Yosef was niftar on Monday, and the levaya was held at Shomrei Hadas on Monday evening.

Yehi zichro baruch.
