Biblical Jewish Names Rank High as Top Ten Choice for NYC Babies

In a newly released announcement, the Health Department shared the most popular names for New York City babies, with biblical Jewish names receiving high ranking. 

The top names for boys from the 2022 list released earlier today includes Noah, which came in second place. David and Jacob came in fifth and sixth, respectively. Joseph and Daniel hold eighth and ninth place, respectively.

Girls' names include Leah, the fifth most popular name, followed by Esther, which is in seventh place.
