Boro Park Shomrim Assists NYPD in Multiple Arrests in 48-Hour Span

Boro Park Shomrim, working in coordination with the NYPD, assisted in multiple arrests across Boro Park within a 48-hour period.

Among the incidents, a suspect was arrested on 18th Avenue and 62nd Street for possession of stolen tools and an outstanding warrant. In a separate case, a drunk driver was taken into custody on 9th Avenue and 61st Street for driving under the influence.

Additional arrests included a suspect accused of stealing multiple packages and fishing mail out of residential mailboxes in the area of 16th Avenue and 55th Street. In another incident, two suspects were arrested on 9th Avenue and 46th Street for stealing multiple mopeds and attempting to hardwire them.

All of the arrests were made with the assistance of Boro Park Shomrim volunteers, who alerted police, helped track suspects, and provided real-time information to responding officers.
