Boro Parkers Brave Rain and Cold to Get Out and Vote

Boro Parkers Brave Rain and Cold to Get Out and Vote

With election day only five days away, Boro Parkers are joining the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers who are filling out their ballots in early voting.

While New Yorkers in other locations complain of long lines, one voter said that he did not find long lines at the Franklin D. Roosevelt High School on 19th Ave. and 58th St.

Although masks are required to vote, two voters reported that they actually were not allowed in until they removed their masks.

Why? Their navy blue masks said “Trump 2020,” which constitutes “electioneering,” or attempting to influence others to vote for particular candidates.

After being given plain blue masks by polling volunteers, the Trump supporters were kindly allowed to vote.

Early voting continues until Sunday at 4pm, voters may mail in their ballots, and Election Day is Tues. Nov. 3.
