Captured Moment: The Georgian Apartment Complex

In the center of Boro Park stand an imposing building which towers over the neighborhood. In this newspaper clipping we see a rendering of this building from 1952.

Answer to last week’s captured moment: 

The Hebrew Community of Boro Park, later Rabbi Kleinman’s Shul, later became a Skverer Shtiebel and yeshiva. 

Today, the Viznitz-Yerushalayimer Rebbe has his shul there, continuing a 100-year old sacred tradition.
