Captured Moment: The Infants Home

This week’s captured moment takes us to a corner of Boro Park and to the infants home, where orphans were benevolently raised in Boro Park of yore. 

The building still stands to this day, has served a shul in part for many years.

As our readers have correctly pointed out, the ABC driving school was located at 5019 New Utrecht Avenue. As we can see, the railing of the overhead tracks are still visible today!
