Captured Moment: The Shinever Beis Medrash
YS GOLD
On Boro Park’s lower streets, off of 16th Avenue, sits a small beis medrash.
Before it began carrying its current name, it was known as the Shinever Beis Medrash. While it has changed names today, the shul continues to serve as a makom Torah utefillah.
Can any of our readers identify the location?
______
Answer to last week’s Captured Moment:
As many of our readers have properly identified, Savoy Gardens, which stood at 408 Ditmas Avenue, was the subject of last week’s captured moment. While it served as the local branch for the Brooklyn Public Library for many years, today it is the home of a medical office building.
