Captured Moment: The Talmud Torah

YS Gold
On the edge of Boro Park stands a humble home. Looking through the 1940’s images in the New York City archives, we learn that it was once home to an after-school Talmud Torah.
Can any of our readers pinpoint the location?

Answer to last week’s captured moment:
The storefront shul in question was named Chevra Bnai Arye Anshei Krasnopolye, and was a branch of the larger congregation in Manhattan. It was operated out of a small storefront at the corner of 16th Avenue and 45th Street. It was later a hair salon, after which it became Teen Boutique, and currently Pink Leaf.
