Captured Moment: The Telephone Building

YS Gold

This week’s captured moment takes us to the edge of Boro Park where an enormous building has sat for decades. The edifice sits there, quietly, with no one seen going in or out.

Can our readers pinpoint the location?

____

Answer to last week’s captured moment:

The Bnei Moshe Halberstam shul was located on Fort Hamilton Parkway near 52nd Street. It was founded by Rebbe Yitzchok Halberstam of Bardiyov in the 1920’s and was possibly the first chassidishe shtiebel in Boro Park. The Chuster Shul has been located at 5120 Fort Hamilton for a number of decades now, continuing the beautiful legacy of “The Halberstams” shul.
