Chavivim Launches Proactive Initiative to Help Prevent Vehicle Thefts in Boro Park
By BoroPark24 Staff
Following a recent spike in vehicle thefts across Boro Park, residents are searching for ways to protect their cars as the problem continues to affect more families throughout the neighborhood.
As previously reported on BoroPark24, more than 10 vehicles have been stolen in recent days, leaving many concerned about how quickly thieves are able to steal cars and disappear without being detected.
In response, Chavivim has stepped in with a proactive new initiative aimed at preventing thefts before they happen. The organization is offering residents a service to secure and immobilize vehicles overnight, making it far more difficult for thieves to override or drive off with the car.
The idea, which has reportedly been used successfully in Montreal during a similar spike in car thefts, is designed to add an extra layer of protection during overnight hours, when many of the thefts are taking place.
Residents who would like to take advantage of the initiative should contact Chavivim at 718-871-7299 and a member to assist with this.
