Chernobyler Rebbe of Bnei Brak Wraps up Visit of Joy and Chizuk in New York

As we make our way into Elul, the Chernobyler Rebbe Shlit”a returns to Eretz Yisroel, following two weeks of joy and chizuk in Boro Park. He is the oldest son of the previous Chernobyler Rebbe, Rebbe Meshulam Zusia Twersky, zt”l, whose court was centered in Bnei Brak.

The purpose of his visit was the wedding of a grandchild , who is also a grandson of his brother, the Chernobyler Rebbe of Boro Park. But these days of joy and elevation were also utilized for a chizuk to the many chassidim—and many who have learned in the Rebbe’s yeshiva in Bnei Brak.

He also paid official visits to his cousin, the Rachmastrivke Rebbe, in Boro Park. A large event was held in the Raleigh Hotel in Fallsburg, where Yom Kippur Kotton was recited in advance of Chodesh Elul, with great awakening to Teshuvah, as well as a Rosh Chodesh Elul seuda in Boro Park.

As the Rebbe departs for home in Bnei Brak, he leaves behind a spirit of joy and teshuva in his wake.
