The stakes this June for Boro Park couldn’t be higher

It is easy to think of elections as political. But this June, Boro Park’s choice is not political—it is vital.

We live in a time when Israel’s enemies speak openly, when college campuses echo calls to spread hate and violence, and when even American officials hesitate to name terror for what it is. In such times, silence becomes complicity.

Congressman Dan Goldman has shown courage. He has stood firmly with Israel, defended our right to live without fear, and offered tangible help to those caught in crisis. His opponent, Brad Lander, represents the opposite: hesitation, appeasement, and rhetoric that emboldens those who seek our harm.

The very idea of America is that it be a country where Jews could live proudly. Sadly, we need to fight so that it remains that safe haven.

The Gemara teaches that “in a place where there are no men, strive to be a man.” Dan Goldman has done exactly that—speaking for our people when others shrink away. Now it is our turn to support him.

This June Boro Park must rise to the moment, not just as citizens, but as protectors of Klal Yisrael itself.
