Construction Begins at the New Bais Ruchel D’Satmar School Building

Construction has begun for the new Bais Ruchel D’Satmar school buildinonstruction has begun for the new Bais Ruchel D’Satmar school building, coinciding with the Yartzeit of the Satmar Rebbe ztz”l. A large new state-of-the-art building is being planned, on 14th Ave. and 60th street, to accommodate the immense growth the community has seen over the last few years, ka”h.

An enormous fleet of tractors and over 40 cement trucks have already assembled at the massive construction site, and have begun the work of digging for the foundations. This historic project, guided by the Satmar Rebbe shlit”a, is part of an ambitious plan to erect a 7-story building, providing over 100,000 square feet and 70 classrooms to the ever-growing community.

The building committee are optimistic about the accelerated pace of the building project, and hope to complete the foundations within the next few weeks. Askanim are energized by the community’s excitement for the project, and are encouraged by the willingness of Satmar talmidim and Chassidim to support this endeavor. There is great demand to buy zchusim in the building, and with the continued momentum, Askanim are hoping that the building will be able to be erected in record time.
