Crash Leads to Miles of Traffic at Verrazzano Bridge
Brooklyn – An early-morning crash has caused miles of traffic on the Verrazzano Bridge on Thursday.
Two trucks, one carrying livestock and the other cement, collided with each other at about 4:30 a.m.
One of the drivers was hospitalized with minor injuries.
There were no reports of injuries among the animals, which included goats, sheep and cattle.
The Brooklyn-bound upper level was closed for awhile and traffic was redirected to the lower level.
