DISTURBING: Report from ‘AAA’ says Anti-Semitic Incidents in New York go Unprosecuted

The last few years have seen a frightening spate of unprovoked anti-Semitic attacks around the New York area, particularly in the Jewish neighborhoods around Brooklyn.

On the heels of this comes a report issued by ‘Americans Against Antisemitism,’ in which they tracked hundreds of antisemitic incidents over four years—and the conclusions are highly disturbing: The vast majority of them have not been prosecuted by law enforcement, and many of the perpetrators have not even been arrested.

Former Assemblyman Dov Hikind issued a statement in a video, in which he lamented the frightening complacency of the criminal justice system in light of these attacks:

“Even those who are arrested, what happens to them? Are we tough on the bad guys?

“The conclusion of this report is that attacking Jews, assaulting Jews… the criminal justice system of this city will not penalize you. You will not pay a price…. There will be no consequences.”

“The hundreds and hundreds of attacks that we have examined… some of them disappeared, the penalties are lowered… and where are the Jewish organizations? There needs to be a real price if one attacks a Jew, and that is not the case in New York today,” Hikind said.
