Ditmas Children's Nursing & Rehab Patients Transported to Tashlich by Hatzolah
YS Gold
It is that time of year, when people from all over make their way to the water to recite tashlich, beseeching Hashem for forgiveness and for a good year.
Ditmas Children's Nursing & Rehab wanted the same for their pateints. However, not all patients were in a position to go in regular vehicles.
So, Hatzolah—as they always do—stepped up to the plate. With ambulances from Boro Park, Flatbush, Crown Heights, Williamsburg, Canarsie, and Hatzolah air in attendance, the residents were transported safely and comfortably to their destination and back, having poured out their hearts to Hashem for a sweet new year at the water’s edge. The chesed org. Vehudartu homebound chesed was also involved in this amazing chesed operation.
"I am amazingly thankful to Hatzolah, who took the impossible and made it possible," Rabbi Mendel Rottenberg, Ditmas Childrens Nursing and Rehab administrator, shares with BoroPark24. "Special thanks to Moshe Wulliger from Flatbush Hatzolah and Motty Fleisher from Boro Park Hatzolah for making this happen."
The parents were invited to attend the Tashluch with their children, where together, they all davened for a new year of good health for all of Klal Yisroel.
