DMV to Suspend Licenses of Drivers Who Have Not Provided Vision Tests
By Yehudit Garmaise
By Friday, the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will suspend the licenses of drivers who have not provided the DMV office with updated vision tests.
Although the DMV temporarily allowed drivers to “self-certify their vision” to streamline the process of renewing driver’s licenses during the pandemic, the deadline to complete actual vision tests expired two days ago.
The DMV claims the agency sent letters and emails with reminders for drivers to complete their updated vision tests, according to Brooklyn.news12.
