EXPANDED Weekend Weather: Severe Storm this Evening, Pleasant Over Shabbos

A severe storm is barreling our way, bringing strong winds and rain—and possibly some hail— over our area. The storm is a result of changing air mass from warm to cold—a system known as a cold front. Because the system is moving fast, we will only feel the really strong winds for a short time—between 9:00-12:00 (there will be two peaks to this storm).

Friday will see some rain, and chilly weather in the low 50’s.

Shabbos will see a mostly sunny day—with temps not reaching 60 degrees.

The pattern of low-50’s weather will continue into next week—seasonal weather for early spring.
