F-18 Fighter Jets to Fly Near Boro Park During Planned Verrazzano Bridge Flyover Tuesday Morning

Boro Park residents may hear or spot F-18 fighter jets flying near the area Tuesday morning as part of a planned flyover beginning near the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.

The F-18 aircraft are scheduled to fly approximately 2,500 feet above the Hudson River at around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25.

The aircraft will begin near the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, just south of Boro Park, before traveling north along the Hudson River toward the Mario M. Cuomo Bridge.

The flyover is planned, and residents should not be alarmed by the sight or sound of the military aircraft flying in the area.
