Famous Media Host Dr. Phil Visits Boro Park
By Y.M. Lowy
The media host Phil McGraw, known as Dr. Phil, paid a special visit to Boro Park today, getting a closer look at the heart of the Jewish community.
He began his day at the Boro Park Hatzolah headquarters, where he was given a firsthand look at the life-saving work of the volunteers. Dr. Phil toured the dispatch center and spoke with members about their incredible dedication.
Next, he made his way to the beloved Taam Eden Bakery on 13th Avenue, where he was warmly welcomed by both staff and customers.
Later, he visited the Nachas Health Center, where he was introduced to their program dedicated to Holocaust survivors. The visit left a significant impact on him, with him stressing the importance of preserving the memory of the Holocaust.
In recent months, Dr. Phil has become increasingly vocal in his stand against antisemitism, using his platform to call out hate. His visit to Boro Park only reinforced that message. Though brief, his visit left a lasting impression on both the neighborhood and Dr. Phil himself.
