Fire Breaks Out at Pizzeria on 18th Avenue

Early Sunday morning, a fire broke out at a restaurant located on the corner of 18th Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway.

The first floor of the building houses a pizza shop, while apartments are situated on the upper floors. Thankfully, all residents made it out safely, and no injuries were reported.

A BoroPark24 reporter on the scene observed firefighters carrying out an e-bike from the restaurant as they worked to extinguish the blaze.

Firefighters quickly brought the situation under control, preventing the flames from spreading further.
