Hatzolah, Chaverim, and Shomrim Ask Boro Parkers, “Is Your Address Visible to First Responders?”

Hatzolah, Chaverim, and Shomrim Ask Boro Parkers, “Is Your Address Visible to First Responders?”

Hatzolah, Chaverim, and Shomrim are making an emergency appeal to Boro Park residents to ensure, as soon as possible, that their street addresses are large and clearly visible from the street.

Every day, volunteers who are responding to emergency calls arrive at different scenes, only to have difficulty finding houses. A lack of clearly visible addresses significantly delays response times, when every second is of essence.

Whether Hatzolah is responding to an emergency situation, Shomrim is responding to a home invasion, or Chaveirim is arriving to rescue a baby that locked him or herself in a room, volunteers need to know exactly where they should go.

Precious time can be lost when volunteers have to start playing guessing games as to which houses they are responding.

Volunteers therefore urge all Boro Parkers to make sure their home addresses are large, clearly visible, and identifiable from the street.
