Hundreds of Boro Park Bachurim Attend Zochor V’Shomor Event, Encourages Study of Hilchos Shabbos

Through the “Zochor v’Shomor” initiative, countless bachurim from the Satmar chassidus—in all locales—learn Shulchan Aruch hilchos Shabbos, familiarizing themselves with these important halochos that are relevant every single week. They are then tested on everything they have mastered. 

On Tuesday, as bein hazmanim was winding down, hundreds of bachurim were gathered in the large Satmar Beis Medrash in Boro Park for an asifas chizuk for this program. They were addressed by Rav Avrohom Schorr, Rov of Nezer Gedalyahu, and Rav Yitzchok Bistritzky, one of the Boyaner Rabbnonim.

Following this event, many bachurim signed up to join the program, which now prepares to tackle Muktzeh, 39 melochos, refuah, and other hilchos Shabbos.
