The Belzer community in Boro Park suffered a sad loss with the passing of Mrs. Rochel Leah Gantzfried, a matriarch of a prominent Belzer family. She was 74 years of age, and had suffered from an illness recently. 

The nifteres was the daughter of Reb Meir Moskowitz, a prominent personality, and the wife of Reb Yechezkel Gantzfried, a prominent Belzer chossid in the Boro Park kehillah. 

The levaya took place at Shomrei Hadas on Isru Chag Succos, and passed by the Belz shtiebel. The nifteres was interred in the Belzer section of Beth Moses Cemetery in Long Island.
