Keren Bais Liska Visit to Olaszliska, Hungary and Eretz Yisroel Advance Initiatives

Several years ago, Keren Bais Liska and its affiliate Mechon Bais Liska was established to fund and execute projects relating to the publishing of seforim of Admorei Bais Liska and restoration and enhancement of the infrastructure of the Bais HaChaim and OHEL of the Liska Rebbe in Olaszliszka, Hungary.

These two interrelated entities were founded by Reb Ezra Friedlander, son of the Liska Rebbe Shlita, who has been the driving force behind a myriad of activities related to the advancement of projects in Bais Liska.

To date, the activities of the Bais HaChaim in Liska have greatly enhanced the experiences of the thousands who come to daven at this auspicious makom koidesh.

As Liska is a revered name in Chasidic communities from time immemorial and is universally regarded as one of the prominent Hungarian Chasidic courts that appealed to the masses for close to two hundred years yet hailed by scholars for its sharp and vast Torah scholarship Mechaon bais Liska under the direction and editorship of Harav HaGaon Dov Pultman Shlita is now engaged in a monumental project: re-working of the Sefer Tal Chaim v’HaBracha, chiddushim and magnum opus on Sugiyos Hashas by the Admor HaRav Chaim of Liska, son in law and successor of the Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska author of Ach Pri Tevuah.

During his visit in Eretz Yisroel, Reb Ezra had the opportunity to share several samples of the Tal Chaim v’HaBracha with Gedoilai Hador including HaGaon Rav Moshe Sorotzkin Shlita from Kiryat Yeyarim/Telzstone, Rav Yitzchok Ravitz – Mayor of Telzstone – Kiriyat Yearim, Rav Yitzchok Pindrus – Member of the Knesset, Rabbi Matityahu Cheshin - The Haredi Consul.

Before leaving Eretz Yisroel, Reb Ezra Friedlander who is a Belzer einikel, had the zechus to receive a bracha from the revered Belzer rebbe Shlita on Motzei Shabbos in Telzstone where the Rebbe is resting for the summer months which is generally off limits to the public.
