Kossover Chassidus to Gather in Aftermath of Tragic Event on Simchas Torah

It was the height of the joy of hakofos on Simchas Torah, when a tragic incident occurred in the heart of the Kossover Chassidus, and they are gathering for an evening of soul-searching in its aftermath.

 The Kossover Chassidus, led by the Rebbe, Rav Shraga Hager, shlit”a, is a thriving Chassidus within the Boro Park community, and in the midst of construction of a new Beis Medrash to accommodate the growth.

 This past Simchas Torah, they rented the large Rieger Hall on 50th Street for the last days of Yom Tov.

 At some point during hakofos, the makeshift Aron Kodesh fell to the ground. Thankfully, the Sifrei Torah remained inside, and the event was not on the level of severity as when a Sefer Torah itself falls, R”l. Nevertheless, the Kossover Rebbe has called together the men of the Chassidus for an asifah this Motzei Shabbos in an effort to take this event to heart, and take lessons of self-improvement from it.
