Last Chance to Change Party for New York’s Primaries

Today is the deadline for New York Voters to be enrolled in their party for the primary elections.

New York operates under a closed primary system, meaning only registered party members can vote in their party’s primary. Any voter who wishes to switch parties must do so by today to be eligible for the June 24, 2025, primary elections. Changes submitted after today will not take effect until after the primaries.

Those who need to update their party enrollment can do so online at e-register.vote.nyc.
