Machne Rav Tov Satmar Opening for This Summer in a New Pennsylvania Location

The sleepaway camp for older Satmar girls in grades 9, 10 and 11 will be opening this summer in Pennsylvania instead of the usual location in Kerhonkson, New York. Blaming the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Cuomo has cancelled all sleepaway camps in New York state this summer which is what led the hanhalah of Machne Rav Tov Satmar to leave New York and go to Pennsylvania.

They are renting a gorgeous campus with bungalows both for the girls and for the staff. There is a large kitchen which they are koshering for the summer. The girls are all very excited for what is sure to be a great summer in the Wayne County, Pennsylvania. The camp is two and a half hours from Brooklyn and a half hour from the Catskills. With gorgeous views and fields for the girls to play sports in, it is sure to be an enjoyable experience for the teenagers.

The girls are supposed to register as soon as possible as it is very important for the camp directors to know how many girls will be attending.

The Satmar Rebbe Shlita gave his bracha that the camp should be matzliach and that the chinuch for the girls should continue in a good direction this summer.
