Magnificent Heichal HaTorah Opens in Sanz-Klausenberger Shul

YS Gold

The Sanz-Klausenberger Shul has served as a center for Torah and tefillah in Boro Park for many years now.

In recent months, there have been feverish renovations at all levels of the Shul, with a major expansion to the main shul.  This necessitated moving the seforim library, which was located in an adjacent room.

To this end, a magnificent heichal haTorah—built exclusively for Torah learning by R’ Eli Hoffman of City Builders—was built in the basement level of the shul. On January 12 the Rebbe came to visit the ongoing construction work as we reported here.

The space has already begun to serve the lomdim of the area who are able to sit and learn undisturbed throughout the day, and many hours of the night and early morning—a truly welcome addition to the neighborhood.
