Man Assaulted and Robbed Inside Bensonhurst Subway Station

A 63-year-old man was assaulted and robbed inside a Bensonhurst subway station last month, according to the NYPD.
The incident occurred on Dec. 6 at around 7 p.m. inside the 79th Street subway station. Police say the victim was exiting the station when two individuals approached him and started attacking him before stealing his wallet. The suspects then fled the scene.
EMS responded and transported the victim to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was treated for his injuries.
Police later reported that the victim discovered unauthorized attempts to use his credit cards following the robbery. The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
