Mayor Eric Adams Indicted On Federal Charges

By Idy Perl

Late last night New York City Mayor Eric Adams became the latest official in his abysmal administration to get probed by federal officers, and the first NYC mayor ever to be indicted on federal charges while in office.

Although the indictment is sealed for now, sources say at least some of the charges might be in regard to foreign influence and the Turkish government illegally funneling money into Adams’ campaign. More information regarding the charges is expected to be released on Thursday.

Adams released a video shortly after the indictment hit the news, saying “I always knew that If I stood my ground for New Yorkers that I would be a target – and a target I became,” he said. “If I am charged, I am innocent and I will fight this with every ounce of my strength and spirit.”

Early this morning federal officers were seen at Gracie Mansion apparently executing a search warrant and confiscating his phone.

Several officials have already called for Adams to resign, but as of this morning Adams is insisting that he will stay in office while fighting the charges.
