Moped Rider Crashes into Jewish Driver, Punches Him, and Attempts to Steal His Fallen License Plate

After a man riding a moped on 8th Avenue at 3:45pm collided with the Jewish male driver of a car near 39th Street, the impact of the crash caused the car’s front license plate to fall off.

While getting out of his car to determine whether the moped driver was ok, the car’s driver noticed that one of his license plates had fallen to the ground.

As the car’s driver moved to pick up his license plate, the moped driver started swinging to punch the Jewish man in the face, before attempting to steal the fallen license plate.

The Jewish man then called Hatzolah and Shomrim, who apprehended the perpetrator, until the NYPD arrived on the scene to arrest him for attempted robbery and assault.
