MTA Expands Customer Service Centers Across New York City
By Y.M. Lowy
The MTA announced it is adding 15 new Customer Service Centers across the subway system by the end of 2025, bringing the total number of centers citywide to 30.
The newest location at Grand Central 42 Street opened last month, serving riders on the 4, 5, 6, 7, and S lines. Each center is staffed around the clock, offering help with OMNY, MetroCard transfers, Fair Fares, and Reduced-Fare programs, as well as general travel information.
In Brooklyn, new centers are planned for 36 Street, Broadway Junction, Canarsie Rockaway Parkway, Church Avenue, Flatbush Avenue Brooklyn College, and Jay Street MetroTech. More locations are expected to open across the other boroughs through next year.
