New Dayan Appointed for Khal Emunas Yisroel

Last week, on the 17th of Sivan, Khal Emunas Yisroel held a yohrtzeit seuda for the venerated Mashgiach, Rav Moshe Wolfson, zt"l, who left this world two years ago on that date. 

In the course of the incredible divrei Torah and divrei zikaron, the Emunas Yisroel Rav, spoke about the growth of the kehillah, and explained that with such growth comes the need for more dayanim who will guide the kehillah in matters of halachah. 

"In truth, a kehillah of this size requires multiple dayanim," he said as he went on to formally appoint a dayan who will sit in the beis medrash for a number of hours every day, answering she'eilos. 

Rav Aharon Leser is the son of Rav Shloime Leser, a prominent personality in Emunas Yisroel, and one of the beloved talmidim of the Mashgiach, zt"l, and comes to the role of dayan after years of studying hora'ah, and accepting shimush from Rav Zilber, shlit"a, Av"d Emunas Yisroel. 

"I can attest that his yiras Shomayim precedes his Torah knowledge," remarked Rav Zilber.
