NYPD Officers Injured in Vehicle Accident While Responding to Intoxicated Person

Two NYPD officers were injured in a vehicle accident while they were rushing to a call of an intoxicated person who was acting erratically on New Utrecht and 46th Street.

The accident occurred on 12th Ave and 45th street when the NYPD vehicle collided with another vehicle. One NYPD officer and the driver of the other vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Additionally, two other officers were injured after encountering the intoxicated person who resisted arrest. Boro Park shomrim also assist in the arrest along with NYPD officers, the officers also found multiple knives on the suspect and placed him under arrest.
