NYPD Seeks Two Suspects in Violent Robbery on 52nd Street

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two individuals wanted in connection with a violent robbery in Boro Park.

According to police, the incident occurred on Monday, March 23, 2026, at approximately 10:10 p.m., near 52nd Street and 9th Avenue, within the confines of the 66th Precinct. A 53-year-old man was approached from behind by two unidentified individuals, who knocked him to the ground and repeatedly punched him in the face.

The suspects then forcibly removed the victim’s pants, cellphone, Rolex watch, keys, and approximately $4,000 in cash before fleeing eastbound on 9th Avenue to parts unknown.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by EMS. He is reported to be in stable condition.

One of the suspects is described as a male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a light brown jacket, green hooded sweatshirt, black hat, and white sneakers. Authorities have released media of one of the suspects, which is available through DCPI.
